Employment and skills

Choose Work

If you are a local business, Choose Work, supported by Chichester District Council, can help you find local residents who are looking for employment. We have information to help you find the right course if you are looking to upskill your current workforce and we are the team to speak with if you are in the unfortunate position of needing to make redundancies.

If you are an individual, Choose Work is here to help you move forward in your life and move into or towards employment.

Through coaching, mentoring, providing information, advice and guidance, we work with Chichester District residents to help them identify where they want to get to and work out an action plan to help them get there. We work closely with the Economic Development team so we have up to date information about local skills shortages which might inform your recruitment drive or skills update. If you are an employer with available jobs or a local job seeker, we are here to help.
